Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Lead IOM Technologist conducts preoperative assessments and performs intraoperative sensory and motor tests using current electrophysiological techniques. The technologist is responsible for real-time data collection and interpretation, as well as completing post-operative reports and billing forms. The primary goal of this testing is to minimize the risk of stroke, paresthesia, impotence, incontinence, and paralysis as potential post-surgical outcomes. Additionally, the Lead IOM Technologist manages calendar coordination, case assignments, and engages with local customers (surgeons and facilities) to address inquiries and provide marketing support all under the direction of the Territory Manager.
The Lead IOM Technologist is responsible for calendar coordination, case assignments, supplies and equipment management, and local customer (surgeon and facility) engagement to answer questions and market representation under direction of clinical manager.
