EEG Technologist – Remote Monitoring & On-Site Support

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technologist to join our team. This role involves real-time remote monitoring of EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies (up to 4 concurrent studies), as well as occasional on-site responsibilities such as patient unhooking at the conclusion of EEG studies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Remotely monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real-time.
  • Perform routine EEG procedures across various modalities.
  • Unhook patients at the conclusion of EEG studies as needed.
  • Accurately recognize and differentiate normal and abnormal EEG patterns across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
  • Document patient seizure semiology with precision.
  • Maintain professional communication with patients and medical staff.
  • Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment and other major systems (Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, Xltek, etc.).
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of EEG experience.
  • ABRET board-certified R.EEG T. required (CLTM preferred or eligible).
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology related to EEG.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Secure, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace free from unauthorized viewing.
  • Reliable internet connection with backup capability.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including first and/or third shifts.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to maintain and manage EEG equipment and supply inventory.
