Benefits:
· Primarily responsible for remotely monitoring patient EEG studies in real-time (up to 12 concurrent studies).
· As needed, will hook up a patient and begin EEG testing either in a physician's office or in a patient’s actual residence.
· As needed, will unhook a patient at the conclusion of their EEG study.
· As needed will assess and, if needed, travel to a patient’s residence in order to restore EEG study integrity.
· Must be proficient in pattern recognition and have demonstrated the ability to recognize abnormal versus normal EEG variants for neonatal, pediatric, and adult population demographics.
· Demonstrate working knowledge with Lifelines EEG equipment as well as other major manufacturers (Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, Xltek, etc.)
· Must have proficiency in assessment and documentation of patient seizure semiology.
· Must be able to maintain professional communication with patients, families, and medical staff.
· Must be technically proficient and have good computer skills.
· Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
· Must be able to perform a routine EEG if necessary
· All work will be remote unless working in a demographic the company is servicing. Travel for hook-ups and takedowns will be limited to local territory only. Travel outside of home territory may be necessary on occasion due to staffing. The company will provide advanced notice of travel needs and compensate employees for travel time and expenses.
· High School diploma (GED) or higher
· A minimum of 1-year experience in the field
· Must be ABRET board-certified R.EEGT (CLTM preferred)
· Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as it relates to EEG
· Must have a secure HIPAA compliant workspace that is free from unauthorized viewing
· Must have a reliable internet connection and backup
· Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
· Must be able to operate, store, and maintain EEG equipment as necessary
· Must maintain an appropriate supply inventory sufficient to conduct multiple EEG setups if necessary
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
· Must have a valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to move and lift up to 50lbs
· Must be able to stand, kneel, and stoop as needed
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time
· Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute for the purposes of data entry
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
1. Receives general direction from Director, EEG Operations.
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, OR PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION:
1. Certification by ABRET REEGT or CLTM required.
2. Must hold a valid driver’s license.
3. Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
4. Must maintain current AHA CPR certification
