Job Summary

 

The Automations Product Owner will lead our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and task automation initiatives. This cross-functional role is critical in driving the end-to-end lifecycle of RPA and task automation solutions—from identifying high-value automation opportunities to defining requirements and delivering scalable, impactful solutions. You will partner with business stakeholders, developers, and leadership to maximize ROI through intelligent automation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the RPA and task automation roadmap aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation strategy.
  • Engage with business units to assess existing manual workflows and identify viable RPA and task automation use cases.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process maps, and technical requirements for development teams.
  • Prioritize automation initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Manage scrum team(s) and maintain a healthy product backlog with clear, well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and QA to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of automation projects.
  • Monitor and manage sprint progress, remove blockers, and ensure sprint goals are met.
  • Lead the testing, validation, and performance monitoring of production bots to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Provide stakeholders with timely insights into automation status, delivery forecasts, and business value realization.

Qualifications

Core Requirements

 

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Required Skills:
    • 8+ years of experience in product management, IT project management, software implementation, or a related role.
    • Able to engage Director+ stakeholders by translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
    • Understanding of revenue cycle management processes and best practices
    • Scoping and documenting business requirements and portal/UI mapping
    • Expertise leading, testing, and implementing automation development projects using RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate.
    • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) in an Agile methodology
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Monday, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
    • Strong aptitude for analysis and critical thinking, effectively bridging technical understanding with business impact.
    • Proactive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and delivering results.
