The seasoned professional for this job needs superior communication and computer skills including familiarity, with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.  This individual specializes in the resolution of arbitration negotiations, schedule arbitration teleconferences, and performs a wide variety of tasks such as generating reports, correspondence, and setting up informal offers.

 

Job Summary

A Manager is responsible for overseeing team members within their department to ensure its performing effectively. Their main duties include hiring and training employees, creating, and implementing business strategies and delegating tasks to team members

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing employee schedule/hours for staffing needs
  • Monitoring and evaluating employee performances
  • Collaborating and development improvement plans, if necessary
  • Monitoring progress and delegating employee assignments
  • Managing small project teams to develop, execute and complete assignments
  • Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and training programs
  • Analyzing and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identifying any problems with the current workflow
  • Solve problems creatively
  • Preparing and delivering a report of findings to leadership
  • Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements
  • Carrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams
  • Perform periodic quality checks
  • Assist in monitoring and measuring outcome of newly developed process with upper level leadership
  • Monitoring each workflow process, discover issues and deliver better value to team and customer

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or higher education, preferred not required
  • 5 or more year in Revenue Cycle Management or other relevant work experience
  • 2 years in a leadership role

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • Excellent research and analytic skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Independent Resolution Despite (IDR) process
  • Knowledge of No Surprise Bill Act (NSA)
  • Working knowledge of relevant business management principles
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to created and develop a sophisticated report to upper-level management
  • Working knowledge of word processing tools and other relevant software packages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Basic Knowledge in generating process documentation, preferred
  • Creating and developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Intermediate to Advance excel, recommended
  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerBI

  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis

Physical and Mental Demands

 

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate.
