Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing employee schedules/hours for staffing needs
  • Monitoring and evaluating employee performance
  • Collaborating and developing improvement plans, if necessary
  • Monitoring progress and delegating employee assignments
  • Managing small project teams to develop, execute, and complete assignments
  • Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
  • Assisting with new employee onboarding and training programs
  • Analyzing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identifying any problems with the current workflow
  • Solving problems creatively
  • Preparing and delivering reports of findings to leadership
  • Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements
  • Carrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams
  • Performing periodic quality checks
  • Assisting in monitoring and measuring the outcomes of newly developed processes with upper-level leadership

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience in AR or Insurance Collections 

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filters, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and the No Surprises Act (IDR process)
  • Knowledge of CPT codes, HIPAA regulations, and communication/privacy laws
  • Understanding of legal and medical terminology

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and triage cases for procedural errors
  • Prepare and submit weekly client reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism in all interactions
  • Collaborative team player

  • Comfortable using a computer as the primary tool for job functions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
