Responsibilities

๐Ÿ”ฌ What You’ll Do

  • Provide real-time neuromonitoring in brain and spine surgeries, working alongside surgeons to protect patients’ nervous systems.
  • Master the use of IONM equipment, learning to operate, troubleshoot, and optimize monitoring technology.
  • Perform IONM modalities (MEPs, SSEPs, EMG, TOF) with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient data and monitoring results with attention to detail.
  • Stay ahead of the curve—continuously refine your skills through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

๐Ÿ“Œ What We’re Looking For

โœ” Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology).
โœ” Strong academic foundation in anatomy and physiology.
โœ” Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid driver’s license.
โœ” Ability to lift and transport neuromonitoring equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
โœ” Microsoft Office proficiency and a typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
โœ” Excellent interpersonal skills—you’ll be working closely with surgical teams.
โœ” Attention to detail and strong analytical skills—because precision matters in the OR.
โœ” Flexibility to work varying hours and on-call shifts.
โœ” Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required!
