Surgical First Assist - Labor & Delivery - PA-C, RNFA, CSFA, LSA, NP - Louisville, KY

As part of our growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Surgical First Assist to join our team in Louisville, KY. This role will focus on Labor & Delivery (L&D) procedures with a specific emphasis on C-sections, tubal ligations, and hysterectomies.

MPOWERHealth offers flexible employment options including 1099, PTE, and FTE.

• Assist in C-sections, tubal ligations, and occasional hysterectomies, ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain optimal workflow in the operating room.
• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Work closely with the attending physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide surgical support.
• Assist with additional surgeries as needed, including potential expansion into other surgical areas as the facility grows.

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 0700-1700. Call schedule is in discussion and will ensure competitive compensation. 

• Required Credentials: PA-C, RNFA, LSA, CSFA, or NP
• Previous experience in Labor & Delivery is required, particularly in C-sections and tubal ligations.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.
