Responsibilities

  • Review weekly clinical reports to ensure aware of all cases where an adverse outcome occurred; these patients will be handled separately from other routine phone calls.
  • Daily routine phone calls to all patients provided IOM services by NNS; routine script will be drafted and presented to employee to work identifying 3-5 basic questions to ask and document on each patient.
  • Document patient feedback.
  • Make detailed notes on patient's accounts after correspondence from patient, insurance, attorney, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-year Medical Collections Experience
  • Knowledge of CPT, and/or ICD-10
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory government provisions
  • Knowledge of laws that regulates communication and privacy act. HIPAA laws 
  • Skill in fast data entry and accuracy.
  • High level of discretional, interpersonal skills.
  • Tactfulness in dealing with patients, co-workers and other professional offices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
