MPOWERHealth is seeking a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology to join our remote neuromonitoring team. As a critical member of our team, you will provide expert interpretation of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) studies to optimize patient care nationwide.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $250,000 - $325,000. Several factors including years of experience, education level, certifications, and specific skill set are considered to determine actual compensation. 

Responsibilities

The Neurologist - Interpreting Physician is responsible for providing real-time interpretation of electrophysiological data generated during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgical teams and IONM technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

 

  • Real-time Data Interpretation and Communication: Provide immediate analysis of intraoperative neuromonitoring data and effectively communicate findings to surgical teams.
  • Clinical Correlation: Integrate electrophysiological findings with patient's clinical status to inform surgical decision-making.
  • Comprehensive Case Review and Reporting: Conduct thorough post-operative case reviews and generate detailed reports.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of neuromonitoring services.
  • Professional Development: Stay up to date on the latest advancements in neuromonitoring.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology.
  • Fellowship in clinical neurophysiology required, a doctorate in the field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of intraoperative neuromonitoring modalities (e.g., SSEPs, MEPs, BAERs, EMG).
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Prior experience in IONM is strongly preferred.
