Responsibilities

Job Summary

 

The interpreting physician will monitor cases remotely (off-site) to provide patients with exceptional care. The Interpreting Physician will cover cases nationwide, as well as help with the company's education program.  As part of our team of neurologists, the Interpreting Physician will utilize their healthcare skills in interoperative neuromonitoring to help patients who are undergoing surgery. 

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor brain and spine cases
  • Educate and train new fellowship candidates as needed
  • Participate in all continuing education activities to maintain and expand company competency
  • Log any pertinent data into the current EMR system
  • Participate in neuroscience research activities
  • May advise the operating physician on occasion
  • Communicate with a healthcare professional regarding patient’s conditions and care.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • 1 year of neuromonitoring experience preferred. Will train qualified individuals.
  • Board Certified
  • Fellowship in clinical neurophysiology 

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • Ability to speak and educate
  • Knowledge of laws that regulates communication and privacy act. HIPAA laws and understanding of the application of all above

Other Requirements

  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis
